Are you ready for the opportunities that are coming for you? Every day God gives us chances to serve him and others. But are we aware? Are we eager to do good? Are we equipped?
God had given us a life to live filled with opportunities to step into our role as ambassadors for him and his Kingdom. By nature we were slaves, bound by sin, fear and death, but no more! Jesus Christ, our God in the flesh, saved us by suffering and dying in our place. He has set us free to live free and open to give everything we have away because we have eternal life. That is freedom. That is motivation to do good.
However, being equipped for the good works set before us is not the same as being willing and motivated. We need God's powerful Word to continually transform and empower us with the knowledge, the wisdom, the character, the humility, and the confidence to do real and lasting good works.
So ... Are you equipped for every good work?
