Collection: Chi-Rho Collection

The Chi Rho symbol is not just something you see on the front of a hymnal or on the paraments in the sanctuary of a church.

Chi and Rho are the first two letters of "XRISTUS," in other words, "Ch-R-ist!" "X" is "Ch" in English, "P" is "R". Between a different alphabet and different languages, the shape and the sound change a little bit, but what doesn't change is what those two letters represent: Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

For millennia, the church has used these two letters, this symbol, as a way to identify themselves as followers of Jesus, the Christ (Greek title for "anointed one" or "chosen one"), or the Messiah (Hebrew for the same).

Identify yourself with your Savior's name and the only power that can save you and others.
